Dr. Chiang

Dr. Chiang has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from prestigious institutions in China. After an extensive career in China, Dr. Chiang came to the United States to serve as a researcher in electrical engineering at an American university. Dr. Chiang hired Zhang & Associates to prepare his NIW petition. We diligently fostered the gathering of evidence and expertly packaged Dr. Chiang's NIW petition. In August of 2002, we sent this petition to the USCIS, specifically, to the Texas Service Center. In the petition, we successfully advocated that Dr. Chiang's work was highly important and that the benefit would be national in scope. Moreover, we convincingly showed that Dr. Chiang's past achievements and exceptional abilities made him a crucial asset to his ongoing work and that to require a labor certification would adversely affect the national interest. As a result of our artful presentation of the evidence, the Texas Service Center found that Dr. Chiang should be granted a national interest waiver and approved his immigrant petition. The approval notice on Dr. Chiang's I-140 immigrant petition was issued in July of 2003.

Dr. Mao

Dr. Mao is a scientist in the field of materials science. He received his PhD from an American university and had continued to serve at that institution as a Postdoctoral Fellow. We filed his NIW petition to the Texas Service Center of the USCIS in October of 2002, about a year after he had received his PhD. In the petition, we presented strong evidence of the high national interest value of Dr. Mao's work, and, more importantly, of Dr. Mao's special abilities and achievements. We successfully convinced the Texas Service Center that Dr. Mao's work was sufficiently strong so that granting a waiver of the usual requirement of a job offer and labor certification are indeed in the national interest. Because of our adept presentation of the evidence, Dr. Mao was granted a National Interest Waiver and an approved employment-based immigrant petition. We received the approval notice from Texas Service Center in August of 2003.

Mr. Feng

Mr. Feng is a musician. He currently holds a Master of Music Degree for violin performance and is pursuing a Master of Music Degree in conducting at a US university. He is a member of the American String Teachers Association and also received the Outstanding String Director Award from a Youth Symphony in the US. On behalf of Mr. Feng, we filed his NIW petition in February 2001. In September 2002, we received the Request for Additional Evidence from BCIS. To prepare for the Response of additional evidence request, we made great efforts to collect evidences persuasively demonstrating that Mr. Feng has had significant achievements as both a performer and an educator, and that Mr. Feng's exceptional ability made great contributions to the cultural traditional and well-being of the US. In March 2003, we received the approval notice from the Texas Service Center.

She received an M.S. from a prestigious university in China, and both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from a university in USA. Dr. Zhang's research work focuses on the development of innovative optical components, such as dense wavelength division demultiplexers (DWDM's). She has made significant contributions to this area of research. In Dr. Zhang's NIW case, we collected the strong evidences to show that Dr. Zhang's research has been very productive and has had a significant impact on her field, which has the potential for improvements in the economy, national defense, telecommunications, and other general uses for society. We filed her NIW petition to Texas Service Center in February 2002 and received the approval notice in March 2002, only three weeks later.

Ms. Umbai

Ms. Umbai has extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering, particularly in the area of pollution abatement and treatment. She received her B.S. in chemical engineering from a prestigious university in Thailand and M.S. from a university in US., where she has performed outstanding research in the field of air quality improvement. Lately she has been working at SAE Engineering, Inc. where she has risen to the rank of Lead Engineer. When we prepared for her NIW petition, we made great efforts in collecting the strong evidences that Ms. Umbai possesses unique and innovative skills, knowledge and background that serve the National interest to a significantly greater degree than others with minimum qualifications and her work is proposed to benefit the nation as a whole by protecting the environment. We filed her NIW petition to Texas Service Center at the end of March 2003 and received the approval notice in the beginning of September 2003.

Dr. Lin

Dr. Lin is a scientist with extensive clinical and research experience in the field of biomedical research, particularly in the area of immunology against infectious agents, cancer immunology and vaccine development. She obtained her M.D., an M.S. in Medicine and a Ph.D. in Pathology, and then, she was employed by a University's Health Science Center to continue her research in this field. Her work has resulted in publications in prestigious international journals. Dr. Lin also received numerous awards and gained membership in prestigious professional organizations such as the American Biological Society, the American Association of Immunologists and the Chinese Medical Society. In her NIW petition, we successfully convinced USCIS that Dr. Lin has truly gained an international reputation as an outstanding scientist in her field and since her work will ultimately save thousands of lives in the US, her research is proposed to benefit the US on a national scope. We filed her NIW petition on her behalf in December 2002 and received the approval notice from Texas Service Center in September 2003.

Mr. Luo

Mr. Luo is a scientist in the field of semiconductor technology research, particularly in the research of new devices for the development of next generation microprocessors. After gaining his B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in Taiwan and US separately, Mr. Luo worked for two major computer companies in US in the positions of Technical Staff and CMOS Device Engineer. In his NIW petition, we provided USCIS very strong evidences to prove that Mr. Luo produced significant contributions to semiconductor technology research which are the forefront of modern sciences, Mr. Luo's research work impact all parts of the nation and Mr. Luo's employment is proposed to benefit the US on a national scope. We filed his NIW petition to the Texas Service Center in November 2002 and received the approval notice in September 2003.
