Dr. Hou

Dr. Hou is a senior research associate in the field of Cancer Biology. He obtained both his M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biochemistry at a university in northwestern China. After working four years as an associate professor in China, Dr. Hou came to the U.S. to work in a medical research center.

Dr. Hou retained Z&A to file his NIW petition. Dr. Niu is a postdoctoral fellow working on matters regarding Molecular Epidemiology and Toxicology. He earned his M.D. degree in northern China. And he worked several years in a local hospital in Sweden. Subsequently, he came to the U.S. and doing research at a medical school in Texas.

Mr. Zhu is a postdoctoral research fellow in the field of Microbiology and Immunology with an emphasis on veterinary pathology. He earned his B.S. M.S. and PhD degrees in China, and currently, he works in a medical school in Alabama.

We present his NIW petition by proving that Mr. Zhu's research has significant implications for the national interests of the United States. His research has the ability to bring understanding of biological processes of infectious pathogens for the purpose of creating new means for diagnosing, treating and preventing disease in the U.S. Such research will benefit the entire country. We filed the NIW petition with the USCIS Texas Service Center on February 21, 2002, and we got the approval on July 16, 2002. It took less than five months.

Dr. Silver

Dr. Silver is a scientist in the field of material science and engineering, particularly in the area of highway materials characterization. He earned his M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. Currently, he is performing his research as an assistant research scientist at a research institution in Texas.

Dr. Hang later won a Research Fellowship from a German Foundation, and joined a research institution in Germany. Dr. Hang was subsequently recruited by a university in the United States to work as a research associate.
