Required Visa Revalidation Application
Documents include:
The principal and each family member's
passport must be valid for at least six (6) months. The Passport
must contain a Visa Classification (E, H, L, O, or P) identical
to the renewal visa request. The visa must have a maximum of 60
days before expiration and the visa cannot have expired more than
one year ago.
The original I-94 should be stapled in
your passport. If the I-94 has expired, you need to submit a valid
Form I-797 (Notice of Approval) from the INS, BCIS, or USCIS (these
are the successive names for the government agency formerly known
as the INS), which indicates the applicant's current employer and
an approved temporary extension of stay for the principal and each
dependent.
- Employer or company letter; and
The letter is written by the principal
alien's employer or company identifying the visa applicant and describing
in detail the nature and function of the applicant's position, type
of business and justification for the visa.
- Recent, photograph meeting these
requirements for each applicant; and
- Processing Fee of $100 ($150 for India
Nationals; $205 for United Kingdom Nationals seeking E-2 or L-2
visas); and
This processing fee is per applicant.
Additionally, certain nationals must also pay a reciprocity fee,
which varies depending on the country and type of visa sought. Reciprocity
fees are already included for India and United Kingdom nationals,

- A prepaid courier service airbill
and envelope or a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of
the passport and other documents.
- Some cases require additional documentary
evidence.
