This client is an electronic engineer working for a big company. She has limited publications and citations because of nature of her work as an engineer. She initially retained us for EB-1B. However, her direct employer found that it could not sponsor EB-1B per the policy of its parent company. So after discussing with the client, we changed the case from EB-1B to NIW. We filed the client’s NIW in the middle of January this year. While her NIW was pending, the client add the EB-1A petition in April 2012.  Considering her work, we suggested the client to focus on the quality of her work and their influence in the industry for her EB-1A. We submitted her EB-1A petition at the end of June 2012. One month before we submitted the EB-1A, the client’s NIW was approved. And the client notified us the EB-1A was approved at the end of August 2012, which was only 2 months from the filing of her EB-1A.
