I saw today with great joy at the Homepage of US Citizenship and Immigration Services that my petition was approved, pointed at Post Decision Activity with following statements; On October 27, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations Thank you very much. Dr. XXX Background: Client is in Korea, and is in a practice doctor of medicine. Client has some publications (almost no English publication), and also donated a lot of time and money to low-income community. Attorney Joe suggested NIW petition with claim both of medical expertise and the philanthropic model the client developed in providing needed medical needs to those less fortunate. As client does not have a US license, the petition was focusing on offering theoretic training to other doctors and philanthropic efforts. Case approved in March 2011 and approved without RFE in Oct. 2011. Client’s visa number is current and is immediately eligible for a consular processing to receive immigrant visa to US.
