Sure I will start 485 process with your help soon. It happens that I took one week off and currently in Canada to take care of some personal stuff. I will be flying back tomorrow. I hope everything will be smooth and fine. I will make the payment right away, either Monday or Tuesday next week.

Can I ask my company to prepare a employment letter on Monday for I-485 purpose? What should be there in the employment letter then typically? I want to prepare early, since I don't have confidence in the stability of my company, and bad things can happen anytime. Also, what is the general timeline for I-485 approval? What if the company were shut down after I have submitted I-485 application, but before I-485 got approved?
