AILA Is Able to Discuss with DOL on PERM Cases

AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) now has established a liaison channel with DOL (Department of Labor) on PERM cases. The liaison provides AILA an opportunity to communicate with DOL on PERM directly, asking questions and putting forward advises. Therefore, it will be advantageous to the AILA members dealing with PERM cases.

On March 6, 2006 , AILA had the first discussion in this liaison channel with DOL headquarter and the four center directors of the National Processing Centers. AILA focused on PERM denial issues and got active responses from DOL.
