"The background of the case: the client is a painter and lives in China. He retained us for his EB-1A in June 2011. We helped the client to prepare his recommendation letters. We also assisted the client to select and organize other supporting documents including his exhibitions, painting books, articles, awards, media reports, etc. Because the client’s all documents are in Chinese and a huge amount of translations was need, it took a long period of time to get the documents ready. The client mailed us the document at the end of June 2012 and the case was filed at the end of July 2012. The case was approved by USCIS without RFE in December 2012. After his I-140 was approved, the client retained us for his consular processing. During his interview at US consulate in Guangzhou, the officer questioned his future exhibition opportunity in the US and requested more evidence. We advised the client in preparing the documents requested by the US consulate and the immigration visas were approved about 2 months later."
