May 2017 Visa Bulletin Update: Use Final Action Dates
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced this week that for the month of May, final action dates should be used to determine when to file adjustment of status applications for employment-based categories. Accordingly, the filing dates chart will not apply.
Applicants whose priority dates fall before the relevant final action date listed are eligible to file their Form I-485 petitions. As we published earlier this month, May 2017 final action dates for employment-based preference cases are as follows:
