On October 14, 2015, USCIS determined that applicants may only use the dates for filing Visa Application chart when it is predicted that there are more visas available than there are applicants.  Unless otherwise stated, the application final action date will determine when applicants can file for adjustment of status.

USCIS will determine whether the Filing Cutoff Date can be used each month approximately a week after the Department of Justice publishes the monthly Visa Bulletin. This new procedure will start with the November 2015 Visa Bulletin. Please visit http://www.uscis.gov/visabulletininfo to find out when to file and which cutoff date is used.
