On September 9, 2015, the Department of States (DoS) and USCIS released the filing and approval priority dates for October 2015. Based on these dates, many immigrants began preparing to file for adjustment of status. However, on September 25, 2015, the DoS and USCIS revised the October Bulletin to a much earlier priority date for many categories including EB-2 category for China and Indian born applicants.

Currently, many previously eligible applicants have suffered mentally and financially because of this unfair revision. We ask you to urge the U.S government to make the necessary changes and revert the priority dates. You can do so by contacting your local representatives and sign the white house petition posted here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/uscis-and-dos-changed-priority-dates-categories-all-sudden-and-causing-financial-and-mental-loss .
