USCIS Releases Statistics for All Forms for Second Quarter of 2014 Fiscal Year

USCIS recently released data on all forms including family based, employment based, humanitarian, citizenship and nationality and others for the current 2014 fiscal year. The data released shows the number of forms received, approved, denied, and pending in the first and second quarter of FY 2014.

In the Family Based category, there have been 189,403 I-130 applications for immediate and preference relatives received in the 2nd quarter of FY 2014. In addition, USCIS have approved 238,810 I-130 applications with 19,510 denials and 840,043 pending during this 2nd quarter. So far in FY 2014, USCIS have received 387,018 I-130 applications and approved 430,100 I-130 applications. For adjustment of status, USCIS received 65,474 family based I-485 applications, while approving 62,154, denying 8,056 with 154,379 family based I-485 applications are pending in the 2nd quarter of the 2014 fiscal year. USCIS have received 133,659 and approved 122,882 family based I-485 thus far in the 2014 fiscal year.

In the Employment Based category, there have been 17,879 I-140 (Immigrant Petitions for Workers) received by USCIS in the 2nd quarter. Moreover, USCIS have approved 10,930 and denied 1,593 I-140 petitions with 24,595 pending this quarter. There have been a total of 32,445 I-140 petitions received and 21,323 I-140 approvals so far this fiscal year. USCIS have received 29,639 employment based I-485 petitions in the 2nd quarter as well. In addition, USCIS have approved 30,651, and denied 1,611 employment based I-485 petitions with 118,937 in pending status in the 2nd quarter of FY 2014. So far, USCIS have received 60,207 and approved 62,353 employment based I-485 applications this fiscal year.
