Attorney Jane Xu is co-managing attorney at Zhang & Associates and a leading member of the firm’s PERM legal team. A New York State licensed attorney, she is also authorized to practice law in China. Attorney Xu earned her Bachelor of Law Degree in International Economic Law from Fudan University, and received the honor of Excellent Graduate from the Shanghai High Education Bureau. Attorney Xu also received her Master of Laws degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Xu worked for several international companies. Attorney Xu worked for NIKE as the assistant sports marketing manager in charge of legal affairs and business development, and worked for Ranbaxy, the No. 1 Indian pharmaceutical company, as the Human Resource Manager in charge of legal affairs and recruitment. In addition, she also practiced with a local Shanghai law firm in the field of corporate and family law.

Attorney Xu's major fields of practice include Labor Certification, National Interest Waiver, EB-1(a)Alien of Extraordinary Ability, EB-1(b) Outstanding Researcher, H-1B, L and O Nonimmigrant working visas. Since joining the firm, Attorney Xu has effectively handled numerous H-1B and NIW cases. Specifically, Attorney Xu has successfully assisted many NIW clients with tough RFEs (Request for Additional Evidence), which demonstrated her desire to take on challenges.

Attorney Xu's strong commitment to clients springs from her own immigrant background, which gives her the ability to treat each case with empathy and compassion, as though it were her own. Her detail-oriented and professional nature is complemented by her personal touch, as Attorney Xu is always accessible and quick in responding to clients’ needs.

With more than 10 years of solid and excellent experience, Attorney Xu is now leading the firm's PERM legal team to assist each client, corporate or individual, in designing the best-customized immigration solution package and ensuring PERM regulation compliance.
