Mr. Tejas Shah is licensed in New York State and Illinois and joined Zhang and Associates in May, 2008. Prior to joining Z&A, Mr. Shah was a law clerk to the Hon. Leon A. Kendall on the Virgin Islands Superior Court in St. Thomas, VI, and he has also clerked with the federal government in Washington D.C. and with an Indian law firm based in Bangalore, India.  He graduated with his J.D. from the George Washington Law School in May, 2006, where he was the President of the South Asian Law Students Association.

Attorney Shah enjoys practicing international and domestic law and has significant experience drafting opinions at the trial and appellate level.  He brings a strong background in international law, contracts, administrative law, immigration and other areas of practice to Z&A.

Attorney Shah has spent several years living in India and still travels there frequently.  He is familiar with the issues that many immigrants face because of his family background and experience with immigrant communities in the United States.  He will strive to treat each client as professionally as possible and with the standard of care that they would expect from an individual who is personally invested in their concerns.

Aside from English, Mr. Shah is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.  He can also read and write in French and communicate in the language, but with an American accent! In his free time, he enjoys traveling and playing various sports.
