As stated in a previous posting on this topic on February 4, 2011, ICE (the immigration agency charged with enforcing U.S. immigration laws) charged Tri-Valley University in Pleasanton, CA, with violating U.S. immigration laws by making false statements to the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS). ICE filed a complaint in federal district court on January 21, 2011, charging the University with facilitating illegal status and visas for hundreds of students in the United States and labeled the institution a “sham” educational facility.

The latest update is that on February 9, ICE issued a press release stating that the F-1 status of all Tri-Valley University students was terminated on January 18, 2011. ICE has asked all University students to report to their nearest ICE office, created a hotline (415-844-5320, where messages can be left), and provided a number for the Student Exchange Visitor Program (703-603-3400) and email address (SFRHSIFraud@dhs.gov) that students can contact for further guidance.
